Granny's Never Fail Yeast Rolls

ounces All-Purpose Flour
14
ounces Bread Flour

tablespoon Salt

ounces Water -- warm, not hot
3.75 ounces Sugar
1/2
ounce Yeast

  Eggs -- well beaten
     
1/2 cup Milk or Cream (for wash)


1. Combine water, sugar, yeast, and eggs in a bowl.

2. Add bread flour. Stir to combine.

3. Add all-purpose flour. Stir until ingredients form a dough.

4. Using your hands, knead dough until dough is smooth and elastic.

5. Place in a lightly greased bowl and cover. Let rise for 1 hour.

6. Punch down dough and form into small balls of dough into golf ball size portions -- about 2 ounces. Place balls into a lightly greased 9x13 pan.

7. Cover and rise for 1 hour.

8. Remove covering and brush tops of rolls with cream.

9. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

 

Yield: 18-24 large rolls
