Speckled Grits

ounces Grits -- prepared as directed
2
ounces Low-Fat Cheddar Cheese -- shredded
1
tablespoon Butter
1
tablespoon Chives - snipped
pinch
  Nutmeg -- grated
1/4
clove Garlic -- minced


1. Prepare grits as directed by package instructions.  Measure 8 ounces after preparation.

2. Add cheese, butter, half of the chives, nutmeg and garlic.

3. Keep warm until ready for service.  Sprinkle remaining chives on each portion when serving.
